Spring Fling is a draped dress inspired by a spring romance.

Spring Fling was created first by draping muslin on a half-scale size 8 Alvanon dress form. The pieces were scanned and resized, and uploaded to Clo 3D. Stitching lines were added to each piece in Clo, then the pieces were added to the 3D form. Fabrics were uploaded, and elastic and finishings were added.

The lining is a crepe de chine, with a printed silk organza overlay. Organza print design from zhllumimi on Spoonflower.
